The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force concluded a two-month-long investigation into cocaine distribution in Ewing Township, resulting in the arrest of Terrance Young, 34, and the seizure of narcotics with an estimated street value of $269,800.
Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced the operation, which involved collaboration between the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ewing, Hamilton, and Trenton police departments.

The probe culminated in the execution of a search warrant at Young’s Perry Drive residence, where he was detained without incident.
A subsequent search warrant was executed at a public storage facility on Quaker Bridge Road in Hamilton Township, where detectives uncovered a significant cache of illegal substances.
Inside Young’s storage unit, investigators claim that they seized approximately 790 grams of powder cocaine, 110 grams of raw heroin, 50 bricks of heroin ready for sale, 50 grams of fentanyl, and various narcotics paraphernalia, including a hydraulic press, digital scale, and packaging materials.
The investigation also led authorities to identify a second storage unit allegedly utilized by Young. Additional search warrants were obtained, leading to the discovery of another stash in a unit on Parkside Avenue in Ewing.
Inside, detectives found approximately 1,200 grams of heroin, 400 grams of powder cocaine, 50 grams of methamphetamine, 50 grams of fentanyl, 28 ecstasy pills, four handguns, an assault weapon, six high-capacity magazines, a hydraulic press, and additional drug packaging materials.
Young now faces a total of 38 narcotics and weapons charges of varying degrees, and he has been lodged in the Mercer County Correction Center. The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to detain him pending trial.
Onofri said that the combined street value of the confiscated narcotics is about $269,800 and praised the law enforcement agencies involved in dismantling what appeared to be a substantial drug distribution network in the area.+
Young was 22 in 2012, when he was reportedly arrested during a drug bust that yielded roughly $62,000 in heroin after authorities allegedly watched him and several accomplices entering and leaving a hotel room on Cedar Road Lane in Franklin Township that was loaded with heroin.
Onofri said it is important to note that despite the charges, all persons are presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
