Congressman Andy Kim is in a competition that includes two women also running for the Senate but the National Organization for Women (NOW) is endorsing his candidacy.

The endorsement, coming from the largest grassroots feminist organization in the United States, recognized Kim’s commitment to championing women’s rights and advancing gender equality.

With hundreds of chapters and hundreds of thousands of members across all 50 states and Washington D.C., NOW has long been at the forefront of the women’s movement, striving to eliminate discrimination and secure equal rights for all women and girls.

NOW PAC only endorses candidates who take uncompromising stands on reproductive rights and justice, economic justice, ending violence against women, racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, and constitutional equality.

Kim’s endorsement reflects his dedication to these principles and his proven track record of advocacy on behalf of women.

“I want to thank the New Jersey chapter of NOW for recommending this endorsement, and to the National Organization for Women for placing their trust in me to fight for the women of this country in the Senate,” said Congressman Andy Kim. “I also want to thank both chapters for recognizing that the fight for equal rights and ending discrimination transcends gender lines.”

Kim, a three-term Congressman, has consistently advocated for reproductive freedoms, equal rights, and closing the gender pay gap. His support for key legislation, including the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Right to Contraception Act, underscores his commitment to safeguarding women’s rights.

Furthermore, as the lead Democrat on the Military Personnel Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee, Kim has been a staunch defender of women in uniform, working to protect reproductive freedoms and strengthen protections for victims of sexual assault.

“I have consistently taken on Republicans in Congress to protect women’s rights and close the inequality gap and have the experience needed to be ready on day one to take on Senate Republicans,” Kim emphasized. “I look forward to partnering with members of NOW NJ and others across New Jersey throughout the election cycle to knock on doors, make calls, and get out the vote.”

Congressman Kim’s endorsement by NOW comes as he continues to solidify his position as a formidable candidate for the Senate seat in New Jersey. His previous victories over well-funded opponents and his dedication to serving the people of New Jersey have garnered widespread support.

In addition to his advocacy for women’s rights, Kim has worked tirelessly to lower costs for New Jersey families, support small businesses, and combat corruption in politics. His progressive agenda and unwavering commitment to his constituents have earned him respect and admiration across party lines.

As the election cycle progresses, Congressman Andy Kim’s endorsement by the National Organization for Women serves as a testament to his dedication to advancing the rights and interests of women, further bolstering his campaign for the Senate and solidifying his standing as a champion for equality and justice.
