Acting U.S. Attorney Vikas Khanna announced 11 members and associates of the Paterson-based street gang known as “100k” have been indicted for their involvement in a violent racketeering conspiracy.
The indictment charges the defendants with a range of crimes, including murder, shootings, robberies, drug trafficking, bank fraud, and other offenses.

The indictment stems from a long-running investigation led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the New Jersey State Police, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, among other agencies.
According to court documents and statements, the 100k Enterprise has operated in the North Main Street and Jefferson Street area of Paterson since its founding in 2016.
The gang has been involved in numerous violent acts, including murder, shootings, and robberies, as well as drug trafficking and financial crimes.
The gang’s primary rival is the “Blockboyz,” based in the Presidential Towers Housing Complex, and other rival groups such as “4k.” The indictment details several violent incidents, including:
- The October 1, 2023, murder of Victim-2, a retaliatory killing in Blockboyz territory carried out by Jasun Allah, Christopher Thomas, Michael Davis, and others.
- The May 27, 2024, shooting of Victim-3, a member of the rival 4k gang, by Jacim Pitts and associates.
- Multiple shootings involving Trasean Short, including an exchange of gunfire with Victim-4 on October 3, 2024, and the shooting of Victim-5, a Blockboyz member, on November 17, 2024. Elijah Byrd acted as the driver in the November shooting.
Financial Crimes and Drug Trafficking
The 100k Enterprise funded its operations through robberies, drug trafficking, and financial fraud. The indictment highlights two robberies:
- The January 13, 2022, armed robbery of a commercial marijuana store by Jazmeir Reyes, Born Allah, Trasean Short, Elijah Rubio, and others.
- The July 28, 2023, attempted armed robbery of a U.S. Postal Service employee by Reyes, who sought to steal an arrow key to access mailboxes for potential fraud.
The gang’s drug trafficking activities were extensive, with investigators conducting 16 controlled buys involving Reyes, Robinson, Davis, and Pitts. Surveillance and digital evidence revealed countless additional drug deals within the gang’s territory.
Charges and Potential Penalties
The RICO conspiracy charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison for Jasun Allah, Christopher Thomas, and Michael Davis, and up to 20 years for the other defendants. Reyes, Robinson, Davis, and Pitts also face drug conspiracy charges with a mandatory minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 40 years in prison.
Reyes faces additional charges for attempted robbery and assaulting a federal officer, with a maximum penalty of 20 years per count. He also faces a mandatory minimum of 7 years for brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
Collaborative Law Enforcement Efforts
Acting U.S. Attorney Khanna credited the efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the ATF, New Jersey State Police, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and Passaic County Sheriff’s Office. The case is part of the Paterson Violent Crime Initiative (VCI), a partnership formed in 2020 to combat violent crime in the area.
The investigation was conducted under the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) program, which targets high-level criminal organizations threatening the United States.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jake A. Nasar of the Criminal Division in Newark is representing the government in this case.
This indictment marks a significant step in dismantling the 100k Enterprise and addressing the violence and criminal activity that have plagued Paterson. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
