Days after he made a false promise to payoff voters with $5,000 in taxpayer money, the Republican tyrant’s threatening to audit citizens who don’t send cash donations to his campaign apparatus.
A fundraising email sent in President Donald Trump’s name is pressuring supporters to “pledge” to vote for Republican candidates in the midterm elections, warning that their files have been “flagged” and that the matter could “escalate.”
The email, sent from contact@win.donaldjtrump.com with the subject line “YOU’VE BEEN AUDITED,” tells recipients that the president “checked your file and found something concerning.”
It states that the recipient has not pledged to vote for MAGA Republicans during the midterm elections and that their file “has officially been flagged for ACTION REQUIRED.”
The message concludes: “Clear your file before we have to escalate this.”
Clicking the link in the email directs recipients to a WinRed donation page operated by Never Surrender, Inc., a leadership political action committee that appears in Federal Election Commission records and was formerly known as Donald J. Trump for President 2024, Inc.
The page continues the pressure campaign with the line: “I really don’t want to take this further… We need your support to win!”
The email was paid for by Never Surrender, Inc., according to the disclaimer at the bottom of the message, which also states it was “not authorized by any candidate or candidate authorized’s committee.”
A link in the message returned a 403 status code when accessed, preventing direct review of its full contents.
This is not the first time Trump’s fundraising operation has used threatening or misleading language to pressure supporters.
Earlier emails claimed a recipient’s “supporter status has been revoked” and instructed them to donate before a countdown expired to restore their “standing” in the MAGA movement.
Another offered fake “promotions” in exchange for donations.
Never Surrender, Inc. ranked among the top leadership PACs by total receipts between January 2025 and March 2026, according to FEC filings.
The committee was converted from Trump’s authorized campaign committee after the 2024 election.
It is not clear how many recipients received the “audit” email or how much money the donation page has raised.
The Trump campaign and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
What is known, is that Americans are deeply dissatisfied with the first convicted criminal to occupy the White House and there’s a strong chance they will pulverize GOP candidates who failed to restrain Trump’s greed, incompetence and barbarity.
The email arrives as Trump’s approval ratings remain low in national polling.
A CNN poll released in July put his approval at 34 percent, matching the lowest point of his first term. An Economist/YouGov poll in August showed 33 percent approval, the lowest of his second term.
Multiple surveys show Democrats leading on a generic congressional ballot ahead of the midterms.
Midterm elections historically serve as a referendum on the sitting president, and low approval ratings are often associated with losses for the president’s party in Congress.
Trump’s getting desperate because the political establishment that allowed him to go to war, enrich himself, pardon villainous criminals, and disassemble the federal government while undermining the value of the American dollar is going to be punished by voters.
